This week is our ELCA's Churchwide Assembly, which happens every three years, and this year, is taking place in Milwaukee, WI. Our synod has elected representatives who are there now--our own Carla Klawitter is one of them! You can check out the schedule, find information and watch the live stream throughout the whole week. Opening worship is happening now--see if you can spot anyone you know!

Sunday, June 9 is Pentecost Sunday, when we hear about the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts. Everyone is encouraged to WEAR RED as we gather--the festival color that reminds us of the work of the Holy Spirit in the world! 🔥 Hope to see you for worship at 9:00am!
The theme for this year's Synod Assembly was "Everyday Spirituality", (based on Joshua 1:9) and we learned, worshipped, served and engaged together with hundreds of others from across our SWMN Synod these past two days. Thanks to Linda Knudsen & Keith Klawitter for serving as our congregation's delegates. And to Carla Klawitter for the good work she does in working on our synod staff! Blessings to our Synod Vice President, Gwen Arneson, who has served faithfully in this capacity for 20 years, and to our dedicated and energetic Director for Evangelical Mission Larry Strenge, who is retiring this year. Congratulations to Ferman Woodberry, who was elected to serve as our new Synod Vice President.

If you would like to share Easter flowers with us, please have them in the sanctuary by Friday, April 19, at noon. If they are in memory or honor of someone, please let the office know by noon on Wednesday, April 17.
Sunday, April 14th is Palm Sunday and Family Fun Fest! Worship is at 10:00am. Sunday school kids should arrive at 9:30 to run through songs. Baked Potato Bar lunch is after worship, followed by the raffle! Raffle items can still be dropped off if you have some! Hope to see you there!
